Il Grumolo is located near the village of Artimino and shares its land with a tomb of Etruscan origin. A never-opened mound of earth, it hosts flowers, olive trees, and other trees. In this landscape, nature and culture have always coexisted, and the farm project was born primarily from the desire to create a place for environmental awareness and knowledge, understood as an awareness of the environment around us, so as to learn to make choices that can have a positive impact on the world.
The olive trees of Artimino, on terraced dry stone walls, produce an oil that captures the generous spirit of the land.
A sweet gesture towards nature, honey is a precious gift from bees, a symbol of dedication and harmony.
From our organic wine, through acetic fermentation, a vinegar is born that captures the essence of our land.
I have met Ludovica several years ago, when she wasn't a full-time photographer yet, but I remember her devoted passion and her clearly expressed talent. I strongly supported her choice to embrace photography as a full-time profession, and today, faced with these photos that fully express my essence, I can say I'm very proud of my advice. In this photographic story, I feel like I've found a friend, because understanding someone so well can only come from a profound understanding of the person in front of you. So, thank you to Ludovica, to her time, her talent, and her friendship.
I have known Ludovica many years ago, was still not a photographer full-time, but I remember his passion, dedication and his talent already clearly expressed. I supported strongly the choice of embracing photography as a full-time job, and today, before these photos tell, and in all of my essence, I can say I'm very proud of my council. In this photo story I feel I have found a friend because they understand so well a person can not derive from a deep understanding of who is in front of us. Then, thanks to Ludovica, his time, his talent and his friendship.
“The life of a bottle"Life of a Bottle" recounts thestory of a bottle of oil from its arrival in a home until the end of its "life," it takes on a new form. The goal is to raise awareness that glass, although considered a sustainable material, is actually only so if reused. Being 100% recyclable, it has a very sustainable "life cycle," but its production has a much higher impact than, say, a plastic bottle. So what can we do? Considering that plastic is certainly not the solution, let's instead try to extend the life of glass by giving it new forms, being creative, and activating our imagination. Thanks to Carlo Stanghellini for the beautiful video, thanks to his professionalism and his ability to understand our desires and turn them into reality. Thanks also to Letizia Gaeta, Matteo Maffei, and Carla (@carlamichaeljackson_official) for their help, for their resourcefulness, and their availability. Finally, thank you to all of you who understand the meaning of small things. From Grumolo, with love.

“The life of a bottle,” says the arrival of a bottle of oil in a house, its history until, at the end of its “life”, takes a new form. The purpose is to make us aware of the fact that the glass, although it is often considered a sustainable material, in fact it is only if it is reused. Being 100% recyclable, has a “cycle of death” very sustainable, but the impact to its production is very high, compared to, for example, that of a plastic bottle. So what should you do? Considering that the plastic is certainly not the solution, let us try to extend the life of the glass giving it new forms, being creative and activating the imagination.
